CAVITIES PREVENTIVE TREATMENT

Cavity prevention can be done at different levels and it is the sum of all of them that will lead to a decrease in the cavity index, both at a personal level and at a community level.

We will develop the most effective preventive systems: FLOURINE usage and FISSURE SEALING.

In other chapters we will describe the importance of a balance diet (carbohydrate intake) and the control of bacterial plaque in the prevention of cavities as well as other buccodental diseases.
